36 weeks today.  even my yoga instructor said it looks like i actually have a baby in there now.  :D  i had an informative appointment this afternoon.  the ultrasound showed that baby owen is officially head-down and has lots of hair.  hilarious!  i wonder what color it will be!  maybe he picked up a deeply buried gene for dark hair.  as with clark, i’ve also made some early progress.  i’m already 2cm dilated (as i suspected), but that’s it.  no significant thinning or softening of the cervix.  it’s probably safe to say owen will come closer to 39 weeks (like clark), and i’ve put in an official ‘last day’ at school.  it will be nice to have a few days off before his arrival.  that is if i haven’t just jinxed myself into having him next week.  or in april.  ha.  (2/23/11)
